Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)

Oriana House’s mission is to provide quality, humane chemical dependency treatment and community corrections services to clients while contributing to safer communities. Safety begins within our facilities, where Oriana House staff strive to maintain a secure environment and model appropriate behavior for clients, reinforcing the expectations for life beyond our programs.

Oriana House is committed to a zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual abuse, assault, or harassment by clients, employees, volunteers, independent contractors, vendors, or interns.

While Oriana House has always had a grievance policy in place for clients to voice concerns, a specific policy has been implemented to address the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). Anyone—at any time—can report an instance of sexual abuse or sexual assault, or express concerns or fears related to sexual abuse. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation.

To report an incident of sexual abuse or sexual assault, complete the PREA Reporting Form, or call (330) 258-1271 to report your concerns. Providing as much information as possible will assist in a thorough investigation. Every report is reviewed and investigated by law enforcement and/or an internal Oriana House team.
